Taught by the best instructors from the age of six, every aspect of Karel's life has been directed towards the ultimate goal of becoming a renowned swordsman.
And after sweeping tournament after tournament, that goal was attained several years earlier than expected.

Thing is, she's actually a girl.

But even though being forced to hide her actual gender can be a massive pain at times (often in the literal sense), Karel is more than happy with her life.
She loes making her mother proud, she loves practicing swordsmanship, and she especially loves all that sweet sweet prize money.

It's only recently that her life's become particularly complicated.
