Sakisaka Fuminori

A medical student who suffered a cerebral contusion from a traffic accident, resulting in a critical, near-death condition.

Post-surgery, following a successful evacuation of a subdural hematoma, he physically recovers but experiences a multisensory perceptual disorder. This condition profoundly distorts all his senses, leading to grotesque and abnormal perceptions of his surroundings. Visual and auditory inputs become bizarre and distorted, while tactile, olfactory, and gustatory sensations turn unfamiliar and distressing.

This sensory disarray inflicts significant psychological distress, isolating Fuminori and altering his social behavior. Amidst this chaotic sensory world, he encounters Saya, a mysterious girl who, anomalously, appears as the only normal figure in his distorted reality. Her unique presence becomes a crucial stabilizing element in Fuminori's psychologically tumultuous life.
