He is mischievous and brings pleasant surprises to the world. Although he and Thor are on opposite sides, they are not enemies, and he has little interest in Thrymr's army. As long as he is happy, he is fine.

He is amused by the protagonist's strong inferiority complex toward the Valkyries, and offers to make a deal with him by giving them the bracelets of transformation and turning him into demigods if they are entrapped.
