The protagonist. Bright and rather bold girl with vivid imagination and curiosity of a cat. Like many young people, she is inseparable from her SMaRTPhone (Super Magic-Relayed TelePhone).

The only family she knows is her elder sister Nami, who has taken care of her as long as she can remember. They have moved house many times, so Maya didn’t have any particular objection when Nami said that they would live in a different place this summer.
