Kajiwara Yoshio

A detective with the Shibuya Precinct's Criminal Investigation Division. He is sociable but awkward, and despite his reserved personality he can be quite unsettling. His colleagues at the precinct refer to him by nicknames such as "Japanese Columbo" and "Little Ken Takakura," given his own quirky demeanor as a detective.

He is stationed at the Osawa residence during the investigation into the kidnapping case. He keeps a watchful yet teasing eye on Osawa himself during the case's development.



He once had a run-in with Naito Jun (from Machi, portrayed by the same actor), and they were both shocked to discover they look exactly the same.
