Hibino Kouichi

Kouichi is a second year student and Shuuji's first friend since he arrived in high school and is also his classmate with Itsuki, Shinobu and Aoi. Intelligent and voluntary in high school life, Kouichi has the reputation of a very serious student.

Like many, he had heard of the violent reputation of the Demon of Hayabara, a lonely brawler. However, he and Shuuji quickly became sympathetic the day they met outside of school in a video game store. Sharing the same passion, Kouichi spent all his free time playing strategy games in Shuuji's room, which gave rise to an unpleasant rumor that they were in a relationship.

Like many boys at school, he is jealous that Itsuki, the most beautiful girl in the school, has become his girlfriend.

Surprisingly, though, having spent more than a year playing video games in Shuuji's room, Kouichi never noticed that his friend and Aoi were cousins and lived under the same roof.

Knowing Shuuji and having a great experience of Otome games, he is one of the first to wonder if Shuuji's relationship with Itsuki is really real.
