Despite his soft-spoken demeanor that endears him to the staff, he harbors a dark secret: he meticulously targets and conquers women. However, Hibari leans on him, unknowingly placing her trust in the doctor, even confiding in him about her feelings for Keita.

On the surface, he appears to counsel Keita and show empathetic concern for Hibari, but in the depths of his heart, he plots to claim her for himself.
