Kitakawa Touma

After Yuuka's disappearance, he worries about the burden on Setsuna as the sole remaining exorcist in their town and eventually volunteers as an apprentice exorcist. The local priest who has watched over the sisters since they were children agrees, as the Church HQ has sent out orders that Setsuna be protected and her stubborn refusal to accept new partners allows him to assign Touma as her bodyguard.

After their first exorcism together, Touma gathers his resolve to assist Setsuna in any way he can, even if he cannot help in the actual battle against the demon. He is surprised at how draining the process is, despite being in decent physical shape himself.

When the demon cult makes its move for Setsuna, Touma is also captured despite the pair's best efforts to escape. He is then used as a bargaining chip to coerce Setsuna into deceiving her fellow classmates to serve as fellow breeding vessels.

In the bad end, he is executed by the cult when Setsuna openly disobeys orders. In the true end he succeeds in sending out an SOS to the Church HQ. He then prepares a ruse to deceive the cult into letting him out to bring the girls in Setsuna's stead. Eventually he brings reinforcements from the Church and helps rescue the sisters.

Despite seeing what Setsuna went through and being an unwilling accessory to her ordeal, he continues to treat her as before despite his growing romantic feelings for her.
