Kamo Isumi

Isumi joined the voice acting profession because she liked games and anime, however she learnt quickly as an intern that it is necessary for successful VAs to engage with the public as part of the job description. Having no confidence in her outward appearance, she has turned down multiple requests for public appearances which has adversely impacted her voice acting career.

She took up the Vtuber role of "Ruin" because it was guaranteed that she would not need to face the public. However, the growing popularity of her virtual persona (over a million subscribers) and the lack of recognition plus low pay because of the contract terms with Ruin's agency lead to growing frustration as Isumi has not given up on her dream of being a successful voice actress and has no intention of just anonymously voicing a virtual persona.

After talking to Isumi regarding her lack of popularity, Kiichi proposes to help Isumi out of her current predicament as he correctly assesses she is not capable of breaking out of her current situation alone. Although his proposal is outlandishly reckless, he is successful in getting Isumi out of her contract with help from the Vatican's backers.

If Isumi is not given up to the ark, her new found confidence and innate talent as a voice actress allow her to rise up the ranks at a phenomenal pace. She gives Kiichi her social contact details and remains grateful to him for helping her pursue her true calling. Rumours of her previous identity as Ruin are also quashed with Kiichi's assistance.

She commissions Kiichi in the third game of the trilogy to find the podcaster who has once again dredged up rumours of her alter-ego Ruin as part of her standard fare of shock-jock entertainment. When Kiichi finds out the podcaster is Rimika, she asks him to be lenient to Rimika as she does not hold a grudge. Depending on Kiichi's actions, she even reconciles with Rimika as the pair have a surprising amount in common. Her popularity is even greater in the third game than it was in the second, to the point she barely has any free time to meet Kiichi when he's on the job to receive status reports.
