One day Julia's perspective on the world is changed, when she's Embraced into the fatalistic Lasombra.
She is thrust into this new world, cut off from her mortal life in more ways than one. She is denied any reliance on technology that could help her cope, and finds that she has to remain an outsider in death as she was in life.

An immigrant from Poland, she already found adapting to life in NYC difficult prior to her Embrace and that was before she lost her job, realized she had almost no friends to rely on, and was made part of a society that would ultimately look down on her through no fault of her own.

Now a Lasombra member of the Camarilla, her official role - being an immigration officer of sorts - carries little recognition or status, furthering her isolation.

She's often seen sitting alone in the furthest corner of a crappy fast food joint in the early hours before dawn. Her vibe is heavily fatalist, which often comes across as a dry, dark sense of humor.

She loves cigarettes - the way they smell, the way they burn, the hot ash falling from the top, the sound of the lighter or a match... but most of all, the way they kill you.
