Charlotte Juutilainen

A passenger in a third-class hard seat car.
She is a daughter of a noble family living in the countryside. She loves reading children's literature. She was born as a descendant of witches who survived the Inquisition during the Renaissance, the early Middle Ages, and the 17th and 8th centuries.

Charlotte was born with strong magical power, the square of that of a normal witch, but she did not have the ability to use her magical power as magic. Since her childhood, she had foreseen accidents, natural disasters, and the illness and death of her friends in her daily life, but she had no means to protect them from such fate.
Unwanted magic, involuntary abilities.... Charlotte hates the fact that she is a witch. Charlotte's parents, at her own request, asked her aunt, the greatest witch of her blood, to seal all of their daughter's magical powers in a pendant.
Although the magic had been erased, Charlotte did not try to make friends, perhaps because she felt inferior. She was afraid of foreseeing the death of her friends. She simply locked herself in her room by herself and only read books. 　
Perhaps it was because she grew up in such a situation for so many years, but in reality, she is just a lonely and shy person. The only person she can be honest with is her maid, Mel, who has been taking care of her since she was a child. Charlotte looks up to Mel not as a maid, but as an older sister, and at the same time, she admires her as an ideal woman.
