Katsuragi Kimihiro

Kimihiro and his sister were targeted by the cult before Kuon was born. When the latter was captured and forced to give birth to a half-demon, Kimihiro was able to save the child but not his sister. He couldn't bring himself to kill his sister's child, but her powerful lineage meant he had to watch over her as the adoptive father and prevent her demonic powers from manifesting.

Although reluctant to take on the Shindou sisters' request for help investigating a spate of demonic-related missing persons cases, he eventually relents but falls for a trap laid by the cult soon afterwards.

In the bad ending, he is killed with his adopted daughter Kuon long past salvation. In the true ending, his petrification spell is dispelled and he returns to his family. He also comes clean regarding the circumstance of Kuon's birth.
