Valerius

A military tribune in the legions, Valerius was forcibly conscripted from his farmboy life years ago and by now has become a cynical leader of killers, a tender heart burdened by the cruel realities of war, death, and his own culture’s sadistic and domineering nature. That heart had a chance to break free a year ago, when he met and fell in love with the Dagaran noblewoman Clodia.
