Leah Shearsmith

A primary school teacher in her twenties who longs to become an author. Her boyfriend, Akuji, is the sunshine in her life, the only one she can be truly comfortable around. Leah has a habit of turning to drink when life gets her down. She's fairly unsociable, down-to-earth, feisty, sarcastic, and a bit of a bookworm. Most of her days consist of endless marking, or more accurately, staring out of her apartment window at the homeless guy on the street.
