A friendly, kind-hearted, and bright person.

Sensitive to what is and isn't considered normal, he's the kind of person who can easily become friends with anyone. He is also the childhood friend of Kikuchi, who he often talks to on the school rooftop.

In junior high school, he was in the judo club and had a black belt. He has many hobbies and likes to do a large variety of things, but he easily gets bored. He always carries a cassette tape with him.
