After her older sister died in the battle with Kurokami (strongest Tetsuoni), as Kotodama user same with her sister (ability to manipulate everything with words), she took over the ruler position of Kanto and became First Sword among the Eight Swords (top position in Kanto with responsibility to lead and protect people). By making Shin the Eighth Sword, she entrusts him with the duty to change the current Kanto and give people "hope and happiness". Other than the image of strong and admirable ruler, she also has childish side.
