The garden flowers had blossomed beautifully again this year.
The sky was blue, and from faraway boys' voices could be heard.

Rikka could only dream of the world beyond his window. He yearned to join those boys.

His teacher would arrive in three minutes.

Rikka, who had so often sat and stared wistfully out the window,
was to reunited with a childhood friend named Mitsuaki.
He remembered the boy being shy, but Mitsuaki had become
a strict and strong-willed steward.

He was not the Mitsuaki that Rikka remembered.
It was a little unsettling, but Rikka dismissed the feeling.

Perhaps he had truly changed, or perhaps it was a facade.
It was hard to see the truth.
