Wasurenagusa

After graduating from college, our hero finds himself unable to secure full-time employment and scrapes by with part-time work. One day, Sora receives an unexpected invitation from his high school alumni association.
He was born and raised in a small mountain village, a place whose population has been steadily dwindling. His former school has already closed, and the village itself has been absorbed into a neighboring town. According to the letter, the area is slated to be completely cleared and rebuilt. The old school, too, will soon be demolished.
Before that happens, a final class reunion is to be held in the school building.
The invitation bears no signature and lists no return address. Sora has no idea who sent it, and the letter’s vague wording leaves him uneasy. Still, drawn by nostalgia and the chance to see his old friends once more, he decides to return—to revisit the village.
