Kyojin-tachi ZERO -prologue-

Two years ago that fall, a newcomer was assigned to the 1st division of the Investigative Division of the Chemie Club Police Affairs Bureau.

At that time, he is approached by Hanmyou, the head of the 1st Investigative Division, and is asked if he want to form a duo with him. Doubtful as to why he would pick a newcomer like him, as Watanabe, he accepts.

After a while, Watanabe receives an order for a secret investigation.

There were suspicions whether or not Shigemura, a second-year student at Fukurasuzume High School, had something to do with "Netsect.'' Since "The Day the Internet has Stopped'', "Netsect'' is the remnant of the hacker group that rebelled against and resisted the Internet regulation laws that were promulgated in various countries.

If Shigemura had anything to do with "Netsect,'' the Chemie Club will need to "handle'' him in an appropriate manner.

Watanabe begins his first secret investigation within the school.
