There once was a boy student who liked the girl next door.
That girl was elegant, well-mannered young Maika. Like everyone else,
the boy student longed for her.
Maika's mother Hibiki was clearly to credit for her daughter's beauty,
and known locally as the pretty face of their family restaurant.
One day, Hibiki's husband, Maika's father -- the chef of the restaurant --
suddenly disappeared.
He left a note. He was eloping with some lover.
Hibiki had no choice but to take over as chef, and she did the job well,

Customers dwindled. Management began to slide.
