After having most of her organisation destroyed by the protagonist, Grendel Jinx tries to find a way to safely rebuilding it without constant "interruptions" by the protagonist's rival organisation.
Discovering that he will be soon be going on holiday, Grendel decides to surreptitiously modify his plans, and to go along with him, not only to start recruiting new agents, and to have a bit of fun - preferably at his expense - but to also end a forgotten case from her past, as well as trying to fix her own organisations problems
