어느 날, 자경단원인 카로(Caro)는 범죄자들에게 습격당하고 있는 소녀 아르시(Arcie)를 만납니다. 그는 그녀를 구해 주었고, 둘은 친구가 되었습니다. 그날 밤, 그들은 계승식이 열리는 중앙 공원으로 향했습니다. 하지만 갑자기 용과 비슷한 하얀 괴물이 그들 앞에 나타나 모여 있던 사람들을 공격했습니다. 카로와 아르시는 괴물에게 위험할 정도로 가까이 있던 어린 소녀를 구하려 했습니다. 그러나 그들은 곧 이 용이 자신들이 상대하기엔 너무 강하다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 그때, 그 어린 소녀가 자신의 몸에서 신성한 검을 꺼내 카로에게 건네주었습니다. 그 검으로 그는 가까스로 하얀 괴물을 물리쳤습니다. 하지만 그들은 전투 장소 근처에 나타나기로 되어 있었던 공주를 죽였다는 오해를 받아 마을을 떠나야만 했습니다. 그들은 여행을 떠나게 되고, 도중에 네 명의 소녀가 더 합류하게 됩니다. 때로는 웃고, 때로는 싸우고, 때로는 격려하며... 위험한 여행의 끝에서 그들을 기다리고 있는 것은 과연 무엇일까요?
