On a night when Himura Ei, a young man with a fascination for the supernatural, visited a well-known haunted village among occult enthusiasts, he and his friends encountered a malevolent entity named Gouki. This entity caused panic among his friends, and Ei was left isolated and in grave danger. However, he was rescued by Nijikawa Kyouka, who had survived the village's horrors and become an exorcist. Kyouka was astonished by Ei's resemblance to her deceased brother.
Recognizing that Ei was the target of the malevolent entity, Kyouka brought him to the sanctuary of the exorcists, the Chikigami Shrine, for protection. After a few days, they were ambushed by Gouki, outnumbered, and Ei was taken hostage. Kyouka faced defeat, and from there, a series of humiliating and harrowing days began.
