But you’re hardly blessed yourself. Your love life ended with the death of your first husband, the church overworks you and you’re not sure why your deity chose you in the first place.
The spring festival approaches, and with it a worrying ultimatum: the church wants you happily married; with or without your consent.

The local duchess Eira, whose relationship to your church is strange and complex but who treats you with unexpected warmth.
