The drawn-out creak of the old camp gates echoes in the mind. What hides among the trees and howls with a human voice in the silence of the night? Who creeps noiselessly behind, for now only watching you, merging with the shadow of happiness and carelessness, but at any convenient opportunity, lying in wait around the corner and throwing you over their shoulder, will drag you into the pitch darkness, from where no one leaves without the master's knowledge? A single heavy, icy breath instills a feeling of hopelessness and deep sorrow, forcing thoughts of death. Decades of loneliness would make her think differently, overcome all difficulties, and find her dream. To follow it for as long as time itself demands, which mercilessly left her at the mercy of eternity... But her dream will never align with yours.

The story takes place in a remote pioneer camp on the Volga River. A boy named Anton, full of hope to find real friends, goes there, but unwittingly learns about the terrible past of this camp...
