The protagonist of the story is a Soviet boy named Denis.
Denis lived with his father and was an exemplary citizen of his country. He believed in the path to a bright future and was always ready to prove himself wherever necessary.
He was ordinary, for the people of his time...
But, one winter evening, his life breaks into hundreds of fragments, opening up new, sharp facets of a person's life in his country.
At one point, Denis, a thirteen-year-old boy, makes a choice that plunges him into a new world...
A world full of despair, loneliness, pain, and hunger.
And just one dream...
A dream that you can only pray to heaven to fulfill.
