That's what the Tenma are.
They are the force that keeps the world in balance. Being capable of assuming the nature of both Angel and Devil.
Nowadays, they are just a familiar creatures that get depicted in fairy tales and picture books.
All children admire the Tenma - they think of them as fantastical creatures.
But once those kids turn into adults, they ultimately forget about them.
"Tenma? Ahh, Those just exist in children's fairy tales," that's how they adults would dismiss them.
You are also one of those who have no recollections of the Tenma anymore.
On a fateful evening, where you went deep into the mountains to fetch some valuable flowers, you discover a mysterious spring. Taking in the intense aura of the place, you're left speechless.
At the sky's zenith, there's the pale moon shining upon the land. This area of the mountainside is engulfed by dimly white fog. A gust of wind blows past, clearing up the heavy layer of fog. And then there were...
It was them... All of a sudden, four girls were there.
