The story takes place in a prestigious private school.
The protagonist, Yuuma Shinonome, is the son of the school's chairman and also the student council president.

She attends also the prestigious school and is the daughter of a wealthy family, but she is often ridiculed as a "nouveau riche" and the subject of gossip.

She is also seen as a troublemaker, but despite their apparent animosity, she and Yuuma seem to understand each other in some way.
