Albert, the youngest son of the Orcian noble house, was a kind and honest young man. One day he was notified that he was to be engaged.

His fiancée's name was Teana. She was the daughter of the former lord of the distant fiefdom of Sheba.

Albert felt anxious because he had never even met Teana, but this was common practice in marriages between nobles.
