Danganronpa: Fandom's Calling

In a universe similar to ours, Danganronpa (The video game series by Spike Chunsoft) has a huge impact on the Japanese gaming fan base. So much so that a hardcore fan of the games decided to open a real-life Hope's Peak Academy. This person funded an elite school, where only 'Ultimates' - Students with exceptional talents and abilities - would be recruited.

Basing everything on the game, even up to the architecture of the building. It seems unreal, but a replica of the despair-filled Hope's Peak was finally real. However, the founder of this school has ulterior motives. Why? Are they a disciple of Junko? Or are they so invested in the game that they take it too far?

Just as 16 Ultimate Students (all fans of Danganronpa, of course) enter the Material Hope's Peak, they realize they have made an unfortunate mistake stepping foot into the establishment. A mechanical bear comes out of nowhere. To most people, this would be confusing. But if you know Danganronpa, it isn't just any bear...
