Mount Shitsu no Mine, a sacred mountain with a legend that a raging demon was sealed away there long ago.
Perhaps due to an ancient curse, for over a thousand years, and continuing to the present day, various bizarre incidents caused by spirits have frequently occurred around Mount Shitsu no Mine.
The monks of Mount Shitsu no Mine are experts in magic who fight to subdue such spirits and the night parade of demons.
They are "exorcists".
Thanks to their presence, the influence of demons has never left the sacred mountain until now...
The protagonist, Tenma Kyoushirou, is one of those who subdue these demons.
Whenever an incident occurs, he throws himself into battle as an "exorcist", using magic to drive away the demons.
By his side are always two women: his younger sister figure, Iwakura Momone, and Izumi Mutsuna, a summoner who acts as an older sister to the two.
Numerous incidents unfold around the three of them...
and within them, glimpses of the maddening and sorrowful feelings of humanity...
And the seal on the demon god weakens day by day…
In the midst of fierce, sometimes sorrowful battles, each character's own "destiny" comes to light.
What awaits them at the end of these battles…?
