Aside from hosting Today's Green Minute, Jim Parks is most widely known as the veteran host of HGTV's remodeling show "New Spaces," which has been enjoyed by television audiences for over nine years. He's also a popular speaker at home and garden expos, where he conducts his seminar "Green Livin' 101."
Jim lives in a 100-year-old home in Evanston, Illinois, the town in which he grew up, with his wife Linda. Together with her he has published a meditative CD "A Journey into Light" (2002), with the meditations growing directly out of Linda's struggle with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
