Banpresto was a toy company that was once involved with video games. It was formed in 1989 after Bandai majority-acquired game developer Coreland and it was reorganized. Like Bandai, a good chunk of Banpresto's video games revolved around anime. Banpresto was reorganized again on April 1, 2008; its video game operations were taken over by Bandai Namco Games.
