It was originally released as an MMORPG mobile game under the name of Unchained χ. It was later rebranded as Union χ , and then later to Union χ Dark Road when Dark Road was released. However, as of June 30 2021, the game has become completely offline and the Union χ portion has been reduced to a theater mode, character customizer and minigame player that is very visual novel-like. It received its final update September 29 2022, where the Dark Road portion of the app has been finalized.
