It was originally released as an MMORPG mobile game under the name of Unchained χ. It was later rebranded as Union χ , and then later to Union χ Dark Road when Dark Road was released. However, as of June 17 2021, the game has become completely offline and the Union χ has been reduced to a theater mode, character customizer and minigame player that is very much VN like. It received its final update September 29 2022, where the Dark Road portion of the app has been finalized.
