In addition to the original romance options (Hijikata, Okita, Toudou, Saito, Harada, Kazama), it includes six new romances: Yamazaki, Nagakura, Sanan, Iba, Sakamoto, Souma.
The story is still fundamentally the same, but with more scenes, events and sub-stories.
An "Edo Treasure Box" DLC could be purchased from the Playstation Store, which gives you six previously unreleased short stories that expand on the Hakuoki lore.
