Meet Layla, Kirame's trusty sidekick for their Japanese study abroad adventure. This girl's so free-spirited you'll get whiplash trying to keep up with her antics.

Talk about a ray of sunshine! Layla's the poster child for "ignorance is bliss," bouncing through life with a big smile and not a care in the world. Negative vibes? She wouldn't know them even if they slapped her in the face.

Hanging out with Layla is like basking in sunshine – you can't help but catch her infectious good vibes. Fair warning, though; her friendliness might have you barking up the wrong tree more often than not. "Is she into me?" Spoiler alert: probably not.

If anything could ever dampen her spirits, it would be seeing Kirame sad.

As for her Japanese skills, she's picking up the lingo from Kirame, but let's just say her real sensei is anime and manga. At this point, she's basically a walking, talking otaku-lite dictionary.
