Yasuda Sayo

Yasuda Sayo is the true human identity of Shannon, Kanon, The Golden Witch, Beatrice, and The Man From 19 Years Ago. Her "true name" is Ushiromiya Lion and she is both the child and grandchild of Ushiromiya Kinzou due to him raping his daughter Ushiromiya Beatrice. After Beatrice II's death, Sayo was given to Natsuhi by Kinzo to raise as her own. However, a few days after their adoption, Natsuhi had pushed a servant carrying them off a cliff, resulting in the death of the servant and severe laceration of Sayo's lower abdomen. The injury had resulted in Sayo's body being unable to produce the hormones necessary to develop secondary sex characteristics or make children.

After the incident, Genji, Kumasawa, and Nanjou had found the child and decided to keep their survival a secret from everyone due to fear of Kinzo repeating his mistake of raping his child. They lowered their age by three years and had them raised under the name Yasuda Sayo at the Fukuin House with the gifted name Shannon. When she was old enough, she was hired to work as a servant on Rokkenjima.
