Tokisaka Reiji

Reiji is a private investigator who specializes in solving grisly murder cases. He used to be a police detective, but after the tragic death of his fiancée, he left the force. Now, he runs a detective agency in Shinjuku, taking on some of the city's most brutal crimes.

Reiji lives with his younger sister, Yukari, in Suginami, though he's rarely home because he's so focused on his work. Despite his tough exterior, Reiji is a bit of a history buff. When he's not on the job, he loves diving into history books, a passion he likely inherited from his late parents, who were both scholars. Their home is filled with a massive collection of historical books and documents.

In the first episode, Reiji goes undercover as a history teacher at Ouba Girls Academy to investigate a series of mysterious student disappearances, following a request from the school's vice-principal.
