The 29th saint who presides over the faith of the Saint Irene Church, the sole religious institution in Novus Aether. Commonly known as the "Blind Saint," she stands out for her exceptional popularity among all saints, residing in the grand cathedral's sanctuary in the Upper District. Irene ascended to her role after the previous saint was executed for taking responsibility for the "Great Collapse."

Despite becoming blind shortly after her inauguration due to severe fever, she strangely regains her sight within the sanctuary. Irene is filled with faith yet embodies youthful competitiveness and stubbornness, steadfastly adhering to her convictions. She frequently clashes with the high priest, leading to a notably strained relationship. Her attendant, Laviria, often bears the brunt of her harshness.

Despite her high learning ability, particularly in chess, where she ensures she does not repeat mistakes, Caim always seems to best her. Caim and Iris critique her for having talent but being overly simplistic in her approach.
